Since I’m always scouring the web for more examples of games we can use in our classes, I was thrilled to discover Dr. Charles Gleek’s blog, Games Without Frontiers. We have it linked in our blogroll, but if you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, you really should. Gleek’s research is on simulations as a method of student engagement (albeit with a focus on IB students), and is thus a kindred spirit to all of us at ALPS. Plus the older version of the blog (found here) has a great set of links along the right side that will lead you to many of the online games and simulations we’ve discussed at ALPS, plus a number of new ones I’m looking forward to trying.
